Khun Paen was born in 2034 BE, about 500 years ago, in Suphanburi, but grew up in Kanchanaburi.
It is rumored that Khun Paen is very handsome, well-versed in martial arts and is very eloquent. Whether boys or girls, they like or admire him very much; Therefore, Khun Paen has many wives, and even subordinates or people who have been with him are willing to go through all kinds of hardship for him, even if they had to sacrificed themselves. We can see how powerful and astonishing the persuasive power of General Khun Paen's charisma and eloquence is.
It is said that General Khun Paen once learned from the Archan Kong, who was very famous for his wiccha at that time. General Khun Paen applied the various wiccha he learned from Archan Kong on the battlefield, and could easily gain advantages in every battle, resulting in victory.
It is said that in the use of magic, General Khun Paen can make himself invisible and enter the enemy's line, take off the commander's head; or use magic to make the enemy lost in the forest and unable to escape; or turn leaves into illusion, commanding the wild to attack the enemy. Due to the numerous victories by General Khun Paen, the King of Thailand gave him the royal name “Khun” with means the top & strongest General.
One of the most well-known stories in the life of General Khun Paen is that one day, the King of Thailand ordered General Khun Paen to take down a country that often harassed the border, and the daughter of the king of this country happened to be the wife of General Khun Paen. She was General Khun Paen’s second wife and his favourite. General Khun Paen didn't know what to do after knowing it.
When discussing with his other general about this situation, his wife overheard the entire conversation. The wife of General Khun Paen couldn't bear to be attacked by the country she gave birth for and knew that General Khun Paen could not disobey the order of the King of Thailand. Under the last resort, she had to choose to poison Khun Paen to save her country. But in the end, she was seen through by General Khun Paen. Khun Paen killed his most beloved wife in a rage but found out that his wife was pregnant with a child at that time. At that time, General Khun Paen realized that he had made a big mistake to kill his wife and children because he didn't control his emotions.
Immediately, Khun Paen used the wiccha he learned to retrieve the corpse of the child from his wife’s womb, made it into a mummified corpse, and wear it on his body. This is the origin of the earliest Kumanthong in Thailand.
Since General Khun Paen has learned magical techniques, he can also communicate with this child, and the child can also assist General Khun Paen on the battlefield, making him even more powerful and invincible on the battlefield. The child also often help Khun Paen to escape and avoid many imminent dangers.
Therefore in Thailand, Kumanthong is known to be able to prevent disasters and avoid danger, & also help the business to prosper and attract wealth, achieving victory in all aspects.
Generally, the shape of Khun Paen's amulet is mostly pentagonal, with a Kumanthong lying at the bottom. It is often worn by many in daily lives as it provides the qualities of General Khun Paen like invincibility, charisma, eloquence.

泰國戰神坤平將軍
坤平生於佛曆2034年，約莫500年前，家在 Suphanburi，但是在 Kanchanaburi成長。
傳聞坤平長相非常的俊美，文武雙全且口才非常的好，不論男生或是女生，都非常的喜歡或敬仰他；因而坤平的老婆多，就連下屬或是和他相處過的人都願意為他赴湯蹈火，就算戰死沙場也都是願意的，所以可以得知，坤平將軍的魅力和口才的說服力是多麼厲害和驚人。
據說坤平將軍曾經和當時術法極為有名的師父阿贊Kong學習，也將和師父學習到的各種術法運用在戰場上，讓坤平將軍在每場的戰役都能取得優勢而百戰百勝。
據傳在術法的運用上，坤平將軍可以讓敵人看不到他而進入敵陣中，取下指揮官的首級；或可以用術法讓敵人迷失在森林當中無法逃離；或將落葉幻化成蜜蜂攻擊敵軍；因為坤平將軍的戰績非常的輝煌，就連泰皇都為他御賜名叫「坤」，意思就是最頂級最優秀的將軍。
在坤平將軍生平的故事中，有其中一個也是最為人知的就是；某天，泰皇命坤平將軍去取下一個經常騷擾邊境的國家，而這個國家國王的女兒，剛好是坤平將軍最愛的妻子，也是第二任的妻子，坤平將軍知道之後不知如何是好，在和部將討論的時候，洽巧被妻子聽到，坤平將軍的妻子不忍心自己孕育成人的國家被攻打，也知道坤平將軍無法違背泰皇的命令，在迫不得已的選擇下，他只好選擇毒害坤平，來救自己的國家，報答父母和國家的恩情，但最後還是被坤平將軍識破，坤平一怒之下把最心愛的妻子殺了，卻在當下發現妻子的肚子裡懷有小孩了，當時的坤平將軍也為了自己沒控制好情緒而鑄下大錯殺了自己的妻子和小孩悔恨不已，當下坤平就利用了他所學的術法，將小孩取出後，製作成乾屍，然後隨身配戴在身上，這也就泰國最早期的古曼童的由來。
由於坤平將平曾經學習過術法，所以他也能和這個小孩溝通，並且這小孩還能夠在戰場上協助坤平將軍，讓其戰役更是如虎添翼，百戰不殆；也經常讓坤平逃離和避開許多的危難。所以在泰國，古曼童能夠擋災避險，也能夠協助生意興旺、招財富的效果。
一般坤平的佛牌形狀多為五角型，有文坤平和武坤平和佛的樣貌，或是二側上下都有女性或底部躺著古曼，多和坤平將軍戰無不勝、人緣魅力極強、口才極好、還有古曼協助，令其在爾後的師父，只要有督造坤平佛牌的，通常都和以上的效果或祝福有極度的相關連結。
