The creation of this amulet was led by Phra Maha Kome of Wat Ratchanadda, with blessings invited from several highly respected masters, including LP Kuay of Wat Kositaram, LP Toh of Wat Praduchimplee, and LP Nai.

The amulets were distributed at both Wat Ratchanadda and Wat Kositaram.

Phra Pru Nang is regarded as a pure Ayutthaya-period sacred art piece of exceptional beauty. The name “Pru Nang” originates from its resemblance to a large perforated leather panel traditionally used in ancient shadow puppetry, reflecting the remarkable craftsmanship of Ayutthaya artisans.

Phra Pru Nang is believed to originate from the late Uthong to early Ayutthaya period. Sacred examples have been discovered at several historic temple sites, including Wat Mahathat, Wat Ratchaburana, Wat Phutthaisawan, Wat Phra Si Sanphet, and Wat Prasat, among others. All discovered examples were made exclusively from lead alloy.
