This batch of LP Ngern made in BE2526 is highly sought after and popular among devotees who wish to experience the blessings of the legendary Wealth Buddha, LP Ngern.

Firstly, it was created at Wat Tai Nam, one of the most significant temples LP Ngern once resided in. According to historical records, LP Ngern personally built this temple to dedicate merit to his father, and he regularly stayed there during Buddhist Lent. Even after his passing, his sacred presence is believed to remain at Wat Tai Nam, where devotees continue to visit and pay respects to his statue.

Secondly, the materials used in this batch were exceptionally exquisite. They included sacred metal objects and bells from the early days of Wat Rakang, old fragments of LP Ngern’s previous amulets, ancient brass utensils and bowls used for Buddhist offerings, as well as gold and silver necklaces donated during early temple fundraising — all melted together. Each piece is hollowed to contain powerful powders: Phathamang, Itthije, Trinisinghe, Maharat, and 108 types of sacred powders.

Only 10,000 pieces were created, originally intended for distribution across Thailand. However, with growing demand from Southeast Asia, the number is now far from sufficient.

Thirdly, the masters who participated in the grand blessing ceremony on January 23 BE2526 were among the most revered of that era. They included LP Kasem Susan Trilak, LP Pae Wat Phikunthong, LP Chaem Wat Don Yai Hom, LP Thir Wat Pa Lelai, LP Nai Wat Ban Chaeng, LP Sud Wat Kalong, LP Khong Wat Wang Sapparos, and many more.

This batch is officially named “Double Elephant (Chang Khu)”. For some reason, the Chinese community later adopted the name “長富”, likely due to its homophonic nature, symbolizing long-lasting wealth. Thais believe that with the inclusion of old Wat Rakang materials and LP Ngern’s essence, this batch brings “Namchok, Sern Choklap, Wasana” — meaning good fortune, prosperity from all forms of income, and the power to overcome obstacles and dispel negativity.
