LP Sin is a strict monk with a compassionate and virtuous heart. He is a source of solace for villagers and devotees alike. Throughout Rayong, he is widely revered for the sacredness and mystical power of his amulets, which are believed to help transform adverse situations into positive outcomes.
From a young age, LP Sin lived a simple and humble life. Unlike other children who spent their time playing, he preferred visiting the temple to listen to sermons and observe monastic practices. At the age of 24, he was ordained as a monk at the ordination hall of Wat Laharn Rai.
As Wat Laharn Yai is located near Wat Laharn Rai, allowed LP Sin frequent opportunities to pay respects to and serve LP Tim, the legendary creator of the Khun Phaen Phong Prai Kuman amulet. During LP Tim’s lifetime, LP Sin learned various magical and spiritual arts directly from him.
LP Sin also studied under LP Pheng, the former abbot of Wat Laharn Yai, where he learned fundamental magical sciences, the creation of amulets for charm and good fortune, and the crafting of amulets depicting sacred figures such as Hanuman, Khun Phaen, and Chuchok.
In addition, he received teachings from LP Lard of Wat Nong Krabok, the renowned creator of the Metta Goat amulet of Rayong, a monk highly respected for his deep knowledge of occult sciences.
LP Sin lives a life of simplicity and humility, detached from worldly possessions and fame. He regularly teaches devotees who come to pay their respects. He does not create amulets frequently, doing so only on special occasions. As a result, his amulets are produced in limited quantities, yet they remain highly sought after.
LP Sin often reminds his followers:
“Whether an amulet is powerful or not depends on the belief of the individual. Those who have faith will experience good fortune.”
In B.E. 2540, Wat Laharn Yai began the construction of a new ordination hall. As funds became insufficient and construction remained unfinished, LP Sin decided it was time to create his very first batch of Khun Phaen amulets, using the knowledge he had accumulated over the years.
This amulet was named Khun Phaen Mongkol Metta Maha Niyom (Khun Phaen of Great Compassion and Popularity). A key ingredient was sacred powder collected from old amulets created by LP Tim of Wat Laharn Rai.
A total of 108 auspicious herbs and plants were gathered for this amulet, including:
- Love-attracting and charm-enhancing herbs
- Wealth-attracting and business-success herbs
- Herbs for protection and safety
- Auspicious materials for fortune and prosperity
- Powders from the cores of sacred trees and woods
- Powder from 108 auspicious flowers
LP Sin personally ground all the ingredients himself and performed countless solo blessings over the amulets. On the auspicious 9th waxing moon of the 9th lunar month, B.E. 2549, the amulets were brought to Wat Laharn Rai for a ceremonial blessing. They were then returned to Wat Laharn Yai for an additional three months of consecration before finally being released to devotees.
