龍婆通達姆是龍婆滿瓦帕薩耶的嫡傳弟子,並參與過無數場佛教聖物加持大法會。在此過程中,他亦結識了著名的龍普多瓦巴盧清批。出於至高的敬意,他拜龍普多為師,並從其處獲得深奧的法術傳承,承襲了許多備受尊崇的佛教法門。他對神通法術的造詣舉國聞名,因此被尊稱為「向日葵田之神」。
他於佛曆 2475 年8 月 19 日誕生,於 22 歲時出家為僧,開始在瓦帕薩耶隨龍婆滿學法。最初,龍婆滿極少教授神通秘術,只是先觀察弟子的品性。後來見到年輕的龍婆通達姆達心性清淨,並有潛質成就非凡,才將祕傳的法術傳授給他。
之後,他前往依止瓦班碧的阿贊通素,這位高僧以精通神通與著名的刺青而聞名。阿贊通素將一本神秘經書傳授於他,並引導他修習內觀禪法。
後來,龍婆通達姆達成為瓦帕薩湛戈的住持,約十二年間致力於寺廟的穩定與發展。其後,他展開雲遊,前往烏汶叻差他尼府(Ubon Ratchathani),並結識了具大神通的阿贊訶摩。阿贊訶摩傳授他行禪、坐禪與神聖誦經,臨別時還贈予《九古提經》(Nine Koti Dhamma),他更將經文全部背誦下來。
其後,他持續於依善各府雲遊,直到抵達呵叻(Nakhon Ratchasima)、沙拉武里(Saraburi)及華富里(Lopburi)。他曾駐錫於「帕奈萊考翁石窟」(Phra Narai Khao Wong Cave)前專注禪修。最初,村民對他漠不關心,直到一位村民供養食物,另一位貧苦百姓照料他。出於慈悲,他為其製作符管。後來該人遭遇襲擊卻毫髮無傷,消息迅速傳開,許多村民便爭相請取塔固。
最終,他定居於「塔片通石窟」(Tham Taphian Thong Cave)前,村民為他搭建小茅舍。此石窟長久以來被認為鬧鬼,且藏有寶物。某夜,他夢見洞內有聖物,但在禪定時卻被惡靈干擾。他毅然宣告:「我來此是為建寺,不是為奪寶。」惡靈聞言退去。隨著寺廟建設展開,越來越多村民前來求福。最初,他僅分發塔固符管,後來也為信眾刺符,甚至包括一些盜匪與逃犯。由於這些人仗著符文刀槍不入,導致治安難以管制,華富里府尹遂親自請求他停止刺青。自此以後,他嚴格戒除一切刺青行為。
改而,他開始製作符衣與符布,分送駐守邊境的軍人。許多軍人退役後回來致敬,感謝他的符衣保護他們免受戰火傷害。於是,他的聲譽更加隆盛,被尊為既是修行高僧、亦是庇佑百姓的守護者。
LP Thongdam was a direct disciple of LP Mum Wat Prasat Yer and participated in numerous consecration ceremonies, where he also met LP Toh Wat Pradoochimplee. Out of deep respect, he became LP Toh’s disciple and received profound teachings from him, inheriting much of his revered Buddhist magic. His mastery of sacred knowledge became renowned nationwide, earning him the title “God of the Sunflower Fields.”
Born on August 19 BE2475, he was ordained as a monk at the age of 22. He began his spiritual training under LP Mum Wat Prasat Yer. At first, LP Mum rarely taught occult arts, preferring to observe his disciples’ character. Eventually, after seeing the purity within the young LP Thongdam and his potential for great heights, he passed on his esoteric knowledge to him.
He later studied under Archan Thongsuk of Wat Ban Phet, a highly respected monk known for his mastery of both magical sciences and Sak Yant tattoos. Archan Thongsuk entrusted him with a sacred textbook and guided him in Vipassana meditation.
Afterward, he became the abbot of Wat Prasat Chan Ngo, where he served for nearly 12 years. During this time, he successfully developed and stabilized the temple. He then embarked on a pilgrimage to Ubon Ratchathani, where he met Archan Hom, a monk of great spiritual attainment. Archan Hom taught him walking and sitting meditation as well as sacred chanting. Before his departure, Archan Hom gifted him the Nine Koti Dhamma scripture, which he memorized completely.
He continued his pilgrimage across the Isan region, traveling through many provinces until reaching Nakhon Ratchasima, Saraburi, and Lopburi. There, he settled in front of Phra Narai Khao Wong Cave, where he practiced meditation. At first, villagers showed little interest, until one villager offered him food, and another poor villager cared for him. Out of compassion, he blessed the man with a Takrud Tone amulet. Later, when that man survived an attack unharmed, news spread quickly, and many villagers began to seek Takrud from him.
He eventually settled in front of Tham Taphian Thong Cave, where local villagers built him a small shelter. The cave was long believed to be haunted and filled with hidden treasures. One night, he dreamt of sacred objects inside the cave, but during meditation, he was disturbed by an evil spirit. He declared, “I am here to build a temple, not to take treasure.” The spirit then relented and fled. As construction of the temple began, more villagers came seeking his blessings. At first, he only gave out Takrud Tone amulets, but later, he began tattooing devotees—including bandits and fugitives, many of whom were unknowingly wanted by the authorities. Their immunity from harm caused concern, and the governor of Lopburi personally requested that he stop tattooing, as it made suppressing crime more difficult. From that day forward, he strictly abstained from tattooing.
Instead, he began creating talismanic shirts and cloth amulets, which he distributed to soldiers stationed along the borders. Many soldiers later returned to pay their respects, claiming that his talismans had protected them from enemy attacks. Thus, his reputation grew as both a spiritual master and a protector of the people.
