LP Tim Wat Phra Khao BE2540 Special edition - Copper, silver plated with longya (red)
*Note : This piece that has been used to taking photo has been washed, you can choose to have it washed or unwashed.
Approximately 200 pieces were made for committee members and those involved in the ceremony.
Crafted with a copper base, silver plating, and Longya enamel, this edition bears the same code marking as the copper version (Pim Copper).
I’ve spent years searching for this piece. Whenever I came across one, it was either unavailable or the owner wasn’t willing to let it go.
Due to a huge collector who decided to let it into the market, once again this piece is in circulation, but for a while only before everybody snatches it up.
LP Tim Wat Phra Khao is revered for his mastery of Maha Metta Niyom, the sacred tradition associated with loving-kindness, charm and favour. Beyond his reputation for helping devotees attract goodwill and support through his wiccha, or sacred knowledge, many also place great faith in his blessings to help fulfil their wishes.
Among devotees in Singapore and Malaysia, LP Tim is affectionately known as the “King of 4D”, a nickname linked to stories of lottery-related blessings and the miracles attributed to him. Despite this reputation, LP Tim was reportedly reluctant to allow amulet dealers to promote his name excessively (but oh man I always promote him). His sacred amulets consequently remained relatively affordable in the early years. Over the past decade, however, their market prices have risen considerably, alongside the many accounts of blessings and miracles shared by devotees.
Among his most celebrated releases is the BE2540 Chennajon, whose name conveys the meaning of “Overcoming Poverty.” Widely regarded as one of LP Tim’s finest and most iconic amulet editions, it was created to commemorate his seventh 12-year cycle (7 lop), marking his 84th birthday. The front depicts LP Tim, while the reverse features a fortune bag surrounded by sacred inscriptions.
According to accounts circulated at the time, LP Tim’s wiccha had reached a new level of refinement and potency. He was said to have perfected the methods of creating amulets combining Maha Metta Niyom, associated with loving-kindness and favour, with Maha Setti, associated with great wealth and prosperity. The depth of consecration attributed to the batch further strengthened its appeal, making it highly sought after by devotees.
The sacred inscriptions were intended to support Metta, business and trade, reflecting the wish that wearers would receive goodwill, opportunities and prosperity. Yet LP Tim’s message extended beyond material blessings. He taught that his amulets should remind wearers to treat everyone with compassion, think good thoughts and perform good deeds. Living by these principles would allow the sacred inscriptions and blessings within the amulets to realise their fullest potential.
The name “Chennajon” expresses the intention behind this sacred creation: that LP Tim’s amulets and blessings would give devotees the strength to overcome poverty and troubles, transform their lives, move beyond hardship and suffering, and find lasting happiness.
