The supernatural power of LP Tim Wat Phra Khao’s Chan Mak (Betel Nut)

“Keep this betel nut with you, my child. Whenever you have something to say, think of Luang Pu.”

These are the words of Luang Pu Tim that his disciples often hear every day. He also gave them betel nut loop om with Luang Pu’s photo. Today, I will briefly mention only Luang Pu’s betel nut loop om, which Luang Pu gave out for free as a spiritual support and protection. In fact, Luang Pu once said that in addition to being sacred, it is also economical because you don’t have to spend money on amulets. Originally, Luang Pu’s betel nut was not in the form of a round ball like it is today. It was fresh betel nut that Luang Pu chewed and spit out. Disciples wanted to own it, so they didn’t have to do anything else. They just stared at Luang Pu’s mouth. When the demand became high, they rented and sold it for a lot of money.
Experience of Luang Pu Tim’s betel nut :

In 2001, I worked at an electronics parts factory in Bang Pa-in. I brought my colleagues to pay respect to Luang Pu. Luang Pu gave me betel nuts.
While giving them out, Luang Pu said “Luang Pu's betel nuts can also protect against snakes and poisonous animals. If you are in a difficult situation, hold the betel nuts and think of Luang Pu.” When they got home, my colleagues took the betel nut amulet of Luang Por and put it in plastic for all of his children to wear. They told each of their children what Luang Por had ordered in times of crisis before putting it around their necks one by one.

Not even a week had passed, it was the weekend and my colleague’s eldest daughter was walking in front of the house, where there were big trees and grass. Suddenly, a big cobra slithered out and spread its hood at my eldest daughter. I assumed that the daughter didn't see the snake and walked closer, until the snake spread its hood to protect itself instinctively, and the child screamed. My colleague who was reading the newspaper in the house rushed out to look. When he saw the big cobra spreading its hood at my eldest daughter, he was shocked, but he gathered his wits and tried to get as close to his daughter as possible.

He told his daughter almost immediately: “Hold the betel nut and pray to Luang Pu for help.” And my colleague also prayed to Luang Pu that the snake would not hurt his daughter. Instantly, the snake spreading who was spreading its hood at the child, turned to my colleague, slowly crouched down and slithered back into the grass. His daughter ran to hug him and cried loudly in shock. My colleague’s mouth and legs were shaking and he hugged his daughter for quite a while. The neighbors ran to see what had happened. When they found out, they were shocked. People in the neighborhood came to pay respect to Luang Pu at the temple.

My colleague went personally to visit Luang Pu Tim and told him about what had happened. Luang Pu replied : 
“When I bless the items you guys bring me to bless each day, I also add many spells… Ten people come, sometimes they ask for ten things, so I will add a spell for protection, protection from danger, and a spell to protect from poisonous animals. I spit out my betel nut and make it into pellets to give away, so it has all-encompassing properties. You could say it has universal properties.” 

Another story :
Around BE2536, I was one of those people who often went to various temples to pay homage to good monks, which was considered one of the highest blessings. I visited many monks and teachers until I went to pay homage to Luang Pu and received a fair amount of holy water and betel nut. Luang Pu would chew and chant continuously. When he was done, he would put it out to dry.

Once, I was very sick and went to see a doctor. He found out that I had dengue fever. I could only drink water because I could not taste anything. After I was cured, I could not eat anything because I would hiccup all the time. I could not sleep or eat anything. It was very painful because when I tried to sleep, I would hiccup. I was very sleepy but could not sleep.

Until the second night, while I was hiccupping, it must have been because of the merit of paying respect to Luang Pu. I remembered that there was holy water and betel nut. I was hopeless, but I wasn't sure. But I thought it was better than other methods because I had tried many methods. I drank hot water and tried every method, but it didn't work. After I thought of it, I got up and got the holy water from the Buddha shelf. I soaked the betel nut in it and prayed to Luang Pu to be healed. I held my breath and drank it immediately. I thought to myself that if it didn't work, I wouldn't know what to do. I just asked to sleep tonight because I hadn't slept for many nights.

It's almost unbelievable. Because when I drank it, it turned out that the hiccups stopped immediately. That night, I slept like the dead. I woke up in the afternoon the next day. I was so refreshed that I couldn't describe it.

It's very strange. I asked Luang Pu. He didn't say anything but smiled and said that it was a matter of karma. It's good. Just pray for it. This is a true story that I experienced myself. I consider him to be a teacher who has given me many good things in life. But for sure, both the betel nut and the holy water are the best. It's up to you to pray for it.
