婆譚彭（龍婆彭）大師出生於佛曆 2461年（公元1918年）的8月份，初次出家是佛曆2481年（公元1938年）在北大年府的瓦慧沃寺(也就是婆譚僑師父目前擔任的寺廟)大師自小就是一位對國家社會很付出的人，也擅長傳統醫術及藥草治療，所以大師自小在家鄉就已經非常知名，常年都在當地村內協助治療百姓的病，及許多村裡的大小公衆事務，就因為高僧是位非常熱心的人，所以曾受百姓推舉，選他擔任鄉長，一擔任鄉長，就做了18年，後來大師覺得爲社會付出的修行已足夠，想要選擇走自己想走的路，於是決定二次出家，大師此次受戒爲僧，是於佛曆2530年（公元1987年）12月5日，在北大年府當地的瓦帕那如帕佛寺，出家後，先在瓦慧沃寺修法五年多的時間，後回到瓦帕拉奴帕，接任住持至圓寂。

婆譚彭(Phrom)大師在泰南是非常有名氣的，大師修法加持我們的聖物，受到崇敬的信奉，傳說對於擋災避險及刀槍不入，守護極強，大師對於破除阻礙、開運消障之獨特法門也有極高的修持！去過泰國的人都知道，泰國的南部是一個常常發生動亂事故的地區，當地曾有軍人被派到前線鎮暴，在站哨時有佩帶大師督造的聖物隨身，被後方摸哨的叛軍捂住口鼻，拿刺刀橫劃頸部時，竟然無法劃傷皮肉，使得叛軍誤以爲遇到鬼而腿軟，反被擒拿，種種聖蹟在軍中廣爲流傳；也有警官在與搶匪搏鬥時，受匪徒包圍後挾持，在混亂中極力掙脫時，被其中一名匪徒對腿部近距離開槍，因子彈竟然無法擊發而逃脫成功，當事人及同事皆感到是大師佛寶顯聖蹟，才讓這位警官幸運全身而退。所以很多泰南的軍人及警察都會佩帶師傅的佛牌，認爲有強大保護力。大師歷年來督造了許多佛牌聖物，每一款都是信衆們爭相恭請的聖物，凡經過婆譚彭大師親自加持，信眾皆深信聖物充滿力量，特別是泰南地區，只要家中有孩兒要當兵或是遠行，長輩都會特別的前往佛寺拜請婆譚彭大師的佛寶，讓家人小孩配戴在身上。

LP Phrom is very famous in southern Thailand. The sacred objects that he creates are strongly believed in protecting one from disasters, avoiding danger and invulnerability. He also has extremely high practice in the unique method of destroying obstacles and improving luck!

Anyone who has been to Thailand knows that the southern part of Thailand is an area where turmoil and accidents often occur. The local soldiers were sent to the front line to suppress riots. One of the famous stories that is still spreading up till this day was that while a soldier was standing guard, he was attacked from the back by the rebels and when they tried to end his life via the neck, the rebels soon realized that the knife they used were unable to hurt the soldier at all. The rebels mistakenly thought that they encountered a ghost and were shook. Instead, they were captured. It was later known that this soldier who faced this misfortune was protected by the amulet he was wearing that day; a relic by LP Phrom.

This is just one of the stories that were spreading internally within the soldiers in the Southern Thailand. Therefore, many soldiers and policemen in southern Thailand will always wear the amulet of LP Phrom. As long as there are children in the family who wants to serve in the army or travel far away, the elders will go to Wat Phlanuphap to pay homage to LP Phrom and seek his holy relics for their family & children wear.
