龍婆本曾親口解釋他鍾愛老虎的原因。他認為老虎擁有極強的威勢，其一聲怒吼，百獸皆靜，聞之即退，甚至立刻臣服。此等力量被視為至高無上的威權之力。老虎不僅勇猛強悍，其外形亦威嚴莊重，充滿尊貴與氣勢，象徵無可動搖的權威。

關於龍婆本以老虎作為個人象徵的傳說，源自他早年在**北碧府（Kanchanaburi）**深山修行時的一段奇遇。相傳某次他於叢林中靜坐禪修時，一隻野生猛虎悄然守護在側。正因老虎的存在，其他野獸不敢靠近，使龍婆本得以安然修行，毫髮無傷。此事亦被視為老虎護法之力的真實顯現。

因此，龍婆本所製作的佛牌常伴隨老虎形象，並深受信眾追捧。這類佛牌不僅被認為具有招財聚富之效，更重要的是能夠辟邪避險、化解災厄，令心懷惡念之人自然退避，不敢輕舉妄動。

Many are familiar with LP Pern Wat Bang Phra, the highly revered monk whose relics and amulets are most often associated with tigers and the tradition of Sak Yant. LP Pern is regarded as one of the Top Three monks of modern times, alongside LP Koon of Wat Ban Rai and LP Pae of Wat Phikulthong.

LP Pern once explained his fondness for tigers by describing their immense spiritual power. A tiger’s roar alone is enough to silence other animals—causing them to hide or surrender instantly. This commanding presence represents a supreme form of power. Beyond their physical might, tigers possess a dignified and majestic appearance, radiating authority and prestige.

The legend behind LP Pern’s adoption of the tiger as his personal symbol traces back to an incident during his forest wanderings in Kanchanaburi Province. While meditating deep in the jungle, it was said that a wild tiger silently watched over him. Because of the tiger’s presence, no other animals dared approach, allowing LP Pern to meditate undisturbed and unharmed. This encounter further reinforced the tiger’s significance as a guardian and symbol of protective power.

As a result, many of LP Pern’s amulets feature the image of a tiger and have become extremely popular among devotees. These amulets are believed not only to attract wealth, but more importantly to ward off evil spirits, avert danger, and repel ill intentions. Those who harbor harmful thoughts are said to naturally hesitate and withdraw.
